Bill Jones | Co-Founder and President
On August 8, 1987 Dr. Bill Jones, with a deep desire to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ to the unreached peoples of the world, made the decision to take a step of faith and co-founded Crossover Global with João Mordomo. He now serves as the president of Crossover Global.
Dr. Jones holds a B.S. from Georgia Tech and doctorates from Columbia International University and Gordon-Conwell Seminary. A passionate communicator, Dr. Jones has also authored several books including Putting Together the Puzzle of the Old Testament and Putting Together the Puzzle of the New Testament.
Dr. Jones and his wife, Debby, have four married children and eight grandchildren.
João Mordomo | Co-Founder and Senior Vice President
Dr. João Mordomo is co-founder and senior vice president of Crossover Global. He has spent five years serving in Belgium and the past 22 years in Brazil, mobilizing and equipping Brazilian Christians to plant churches among unreached peoples.
Additionally, he is a founding member of the Council for Business & Theology of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), co-founder and co-chair of BAM Global, and Senior Associate (“Catalyst”) for Business as Mission at the Lausanne Movement. Dr. Mordomo holds doctorates in Intercultural Studies (D.Int.St.) and Religious Studies (Ph.D.). His writing has appeared in books such as Business as Mission: From Impoverished to Empowered and Scattered and Gathered: A Global Compendium of Diaspora Missiology, as well as in various journals and magazines.
Dr. Mordomo and his wife, Sophia, make their home in Curitiba, Brazil, with their two teenage children.
Ken Katayama | Senior Vice President of Operations
Ken Katayama, born in Brazil, joined Crossover Global in 1999. After serving at the Crossover Global base in Brazil for six years he began working in various leadership positions at the Crossover Global base in the USA. In 2018 he became the Senior Vice President of Operations for Crossover Global, in addition to serving as the Executive Director for the USA base.
Ken holds a Bible certificate from Word of Life Biblical Seminary in Brazil; a B.A. in Bible from Columbia International University and is pursing a Master of Arts in Muslim Studies. He is the Chairman of the Board of Missio Nexus (the North American Missions Network) and he serves as a Perspectives instructor teaching various lessons throughout the United States.
Ken, his wife Nicole, and their three children make their home in Columbia, SC.
