Nenek (the word for grandmother in Indonesian language) shared with a Crossover Global missionary in Indonesia that “someone” moved in her heart and directed her to their house. Upon entering the home she saw a Bible that was on the desk and immediately went to pick it up. She opened the Bible and in a loud voice started reading the passage about a woman suffering from a demon possession. She did not understand, so Nenek asked them to explain the story to her. After explaining and praying for her, Nenek felt “someone” touch her heart and she began to cry. She understood that there is no other God except the God of the Bible. Since this encounter, she has come to understand that the “someone” was God moving in her heart. She has also heard about Jesus being “the way, the truth, and the life” and how no one can go to the Father except through Him. She was one among more than 230 million people living outside God’s grace in this group of islands but now is a believer in Christ.
