MAGHREB INITIATIVE

At just 15 years old, Ibrahim was a very religious. As a devout Muslim he regularly went to the mosque to learn about the Quran. However, he was left unfulfilled. One day he prayed,  “If there is a God, I need to meet you! I need to know you. I need to be fulfilled.”

That same night, Ibrahim had a dream. In the dream he saw a cross, but something black was taking him away from it. He began to scream and shout, “I need help! I need help!” But when he held onto the cross, a hand took him away from the darkness.

After the dream, he went to the Sheikh who could not explain what happened and what Ibrahim had seen in his dream. Many years later, Ibrahim came across a New Testament.  After reading it, he discovered what his dream was truly about. He began to learn about the meaning of the cross and the darkness in his dream. He was then connected to believers who began to meet regularly together and baptized him.

And in the last days it

shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit

on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your

young men shall see

visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

Acts 2:17
