Wade Hobbs is passionate about leading others to know God and to make Him known where He has not been known before.  He is the Director of Personnel for Crossover Global, a church planting organization seeking to provide Gospel access to the unreached peoples of the world.  Wade served on staff with Crossover Global for 7 years before leaving to pastor a church in Texas for 15 years.  Wade returned to Crossover Global in 2015.

 

In over 30 years of ministry, Wade has served in youth ministry, missions and as a senior pastor.  Wade also serves as adjunct faculty for Columbia International University (CIU) and is lead elder at his local church in Columbia, SC.  Wade holds a B.A from CIU, an M.A. from CIU, an M.A. from the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary and is completing his PhD in Intercultural Studies at CIU.

 

Wade’s thorough knowledge of Scripture and his down-to-earth style of delivery are engaging, encouraging and challenging.  Wade loves to challenge others to gain God’s heart for the world, to understand the importance of church planting and the necessity for servant leadership development. 

 

Wade is married and has four grown children and two grandchildren. He loves hanging out with his family, water sports, tennis and reading.
